The literal meaning of ‘Urja Sanchay’ is energy stored for future use. Guruji’s intention behind Urja Sanchay is to give the sadhak the strength to live a vocal and intense life. In simple words, this program is a recharge/top-up of the sadhak’s physical, mental, spiritual and religious energy.
This program is designed to energize every dimension of the seeker's being. Inspired by the Panchkosha theory of yoga, the five steps are as follows:
A few days before attending the Samagam, the sadhak is advised to do some exercises, like not eating onion-garlic, doing light exercise, drinking sufficient amount of water, waking up in Brahma Muhurta, etc. This increases the activity of the body for Sadhana and gives more benefits.
This is the first phase of the process. Sadhaks wake up in the Brahma Muhurta and come to participate in the process with Maharaj ji. This phase prepares the sadhak physically for the process and opens the way for the energy flow. Some yoga exercises and pranayama are done in this. When the sadhak is ready after stabilizing the body and mind, he moves on to the next phase.
In this stage, one sits quietly and listens to Maharajji's words and introspects under his guidance. This process brings out the negative energy buried in the conscious-subconscious. This is the most difficult stage of the process. The sensitivity of the seeker is found to be very high in this stage 2 and the upcoming stage 3 of the process. Many seekers experience sadness and guilt due to negative energy, memories, emotions etc., which is normal and seekers are suggested to accept all kinds of emotions.
This is the most powerful stage of the process. In this, Beej Mantras created by Maharaj Ji are chanted. This chanting is done with a special action which is directed by Maharaj Ji himself. This destroys all the negative energy present in the inner being of the sadhak and prepares the body to be filled with new energy.
Tratak is a form of yoga in which the practitioner sees his Ishta in the lamp light. This process gives physical and mental peace as well as makes the subconscious stable and devotion oriented. This process is like getting new energy and blessings from your Ishta by directly contacting him.
In the last stage, the sadhak is made completely blissful. Laughter is made loud and clear in this. Laughing fills the sadhak with enthusiasm emotionally, physically and mentally. For the sadhaks, it is an experience of talking with Maharaj Ji like friends, which makes this camp unforgettable.
The process ends with the daily worship of the Sun God. In this, the sadhak does Surya Darshan in the order instructed by Maharaj Ji, offers Arghya to the Sun God with mantras and while performing Puja-Archana, seeks blessings from the infinite source of energy, Shri Surya Bhagwan.
